Styles and Looks - A little Guidance
Well, you have made it here so thank you for trusting us and booking in! I trust that you have booked us because you are drawn to the style and the looks in our images. Hopefully, you can look at some and think - I could see myself doing that (even if it seems scary because it is normal to feel nervous and doubt ourselves).
Let’s go over some of our images to give you an idea of what you are drawn to most because generally we cannot cover all styles and looks within one session although we try to cover as much as we can.
Our standard sessions are made up of usually 2 different looks. With the option to add extra sets and looks through our Add On’s which you can find at the bottom of this page and can also be earned for those who pre-purchase a collection through our Bonus Program.
We always lead you with what is working for you on the day, but having an idea of what you love helps all parties prepare for your session. If you find it too overwhelming then that is ok too, after talking to you more in-depth at the pre-consultation it will give us an idea of what you may want to see in your images and this is enough for us too.
Our sessions are made up of so many different factors like lighting, colours, any limits you have with your body (like bad back etc), and how you want to display your images even affects the way we plan your session and shoot.
It’s good to know these things and these are things that will be in your questionnaire and discussed at the pre consultation -
Are you thinking about wall art? If so, where would you display it? This gives us an idea on how big it would need to be for the space and also if we are looking at a landscape or portrait style pic.
What images do you see in our Facebook group or on the website that you are drawn to? What is it you like about the image? Is it the pose? Is it the lighting? Is it dark and moody or light and bright?
I know it can be overwhelming for some to try and narrow it down but to give you an idea on the different kind of styles and looks we can cover, some that you will see cross over I will share a few ideas below. If you love it all that is totally fine too, just let us know the ones you LOVE and really want to have in your gallery or at least try.
They will also be asked in your questionnaire before your pre consultation.
At your pre consultation and again on the day we go with what is working for you, your body shape, your abilities with posing etc to get the best outcome for you.
We are passionate about creating a look or looks that are right for you.
We can do styles and looks as follows but are never limited if you have further ideas, we always welcome any creative ideas too, and will let you know if it’s something we can or cannot do. Creative Sessions start at $250 as an add-on product depending on what time and cost needs to go into preparation.
Conservative - we achieve this look by wearing different types of lingerie (usually something the client brings in) or adding one of our robes etc from the client’s closet. Some clients bring along one of their partners shirts and wear it over the top of their lingerie.
Casual - think more calvin Klein type underwear, or an off-the-shoulder jumper, some clients even like to wear jeans.
Floor poses and Silhouettes -
Floor poses come in both a silhouette and a lighter look usually and are a great way to show off the natural curves of your body. They are probably on the harder side for posing with lots of arching of the back and pointed toes but you are guided all the way. Practising this stretching on the lead-up will certainly be beneficial to you on the day.
Dark & Moody -
Is one of our most popular looks with the majority of sets etc available in this dark moody look.
Implied Nude/Topless -
All of our work is what we consider to be tastefully done. Implied nude can be done where we use just a sheet or robe to cover you. Some clients like to go topless and some prefer to stay covered, the choice is always yours and we work with what you are comfortable with. If you aren’t sure we can decide on the day on how you are feeling. You are never pressured into doing something you don’t want to do.
Nude -
For those who want to really embrace all of their body. Again always tastefully done, our nude shots are quite artistic and beautifully done showing off your favourite features.
Add On’s
You will find a list of our add-ons available for sessions in our pricing guide. Each Addon will add extra sets to set up, and additional props and adds between 20-45 minutes to a session time. to a session and create a larger gallery of images.
Below is a little more in-depth detail about each add-on we have available. Sometimes we will have limited edition sets that are available at the time of your session. In these cases, they can sometimes be added on but please check this at your planning session as these are changing all the time.
Luxury Bondage Set
The luxury bondage set is a fun racy extra that comes with one extra lingerie look. The set from Honey Birdette is made up of, cuffs, choker, lead, mask, blindfold, spreader bar & whips. It can make a great addition when used with our Swing Set.
It is best to get yourself a lingerie set for this set, as the more risque` look works perfectly.
Wet Set
The Wet Set was our first-ever add-on and it is also our most popular to this day. It is done in the studio at the end of a session and we have a range of white tops available for clients to use. We recommend the client bring a set of underwear or g-string to use.
The Swing
Our stunning Honey Birdette Swing is our newest add-on and works well with our Bondage set. Whether you are super flexible and want to test yourself or want to keep it tamer we can work with your ability. It comes with an extra look if you wish.
Luxe Robe Add On
For those wanting to add an extra layer of glam to their session, the robe is the perfect addition. With a choice of champagne or Ruby Red.
Sweet As Honey
Our sweet-as-honey set is done at the end of a session prior to any wet set. Using honey we create art with your body which is different every time. Creating some special images for you.
Bridal Set
For those who want to create a gift for their big day or maybe even an anniversary.
For those who have a veil and or garter of their own that they want to use, we can just incorporate that into your session as one of their looks included. But for those who don’t have these things but would love to incorporate them, we have a veil, and a few beautiful garters in S, M and L to use.
As an add-on set, we can also set up our white chaise and or white satin sheets to create a light bright set depending on the client’s preferences.
